Loyaltylobby skriver följande i sin sammanfattning av KLM_AF SAS affären.
Now that Norwegian and Swedish governments are entirely out of the picture, SAS can even more concentrate their long-haul operations to Copenhagen instead of running some long-haul operations from Stockholm or Oslo and start better feeding Air France and KLM long-haul operations in Amsterdam and Paris and perhaps more flights to Delta’s US hubs.
SAS Eurobonus members will have opportunities to match to other Star Alliance programs once they are out, and I am sure that Finnair will soon have a match opportunity for those who prefer Oneworld.
SkyTeam has been a third-tier alliance well behind Star Alliance and Oneworld. Virgin Atlantic recently joined the alliance, and now SAS, but ITA and AirEuropa are on their way out.
