Frågor om att boka Eurobonus award resa

Har bokat en award med Austrian ARN-EWR tor i nov-dec nästa år. Detta med en 2-4-1 med utgångsdatum 2021-12-31. Är det i detta fall helt omöjligt att få till en inrikesresa tor till/från ARN på samma bokning i och med att SAS släpper awards 330 dagar innan? Ingen stor kostnad så egentligen inga problem att köpa de flighterna på en separat bokning, men känns lite segt att behöva ta extra höjd för ev förseningar och liknande vid separata biljetter...

Går att lägga till så länge voucher inte gått ut.

Med 99,99% säkerhet går det inte, man kan inte slå ihop två bokningar till en.
Men då det är full of flex att boka sas awards, testa och se om något händer, du kan ju alltid avboka om det inte fungerar. Kan ju vara värt att ta en avgång du egentligen inte vill ta så inte award platser försvinner, är ju lite gamble, men finns 4 platser vid bokning borde 2 bli kvar.
Slutlig lösning på frågan: Efter 6-7 samtal med olika agenter hoppades jag på att jag skulle få någon som kunde boka upp någon av de lediga platser som fanns mellan ARN-CPH-ARN i anslutning till tidigare bokad resa mellan CPH-SFO. Tyvärr det blev samma svar från alla agenter jag pratade med, det går inte att boka dessa lediga platser i anslutning till resan fast de står som lediga på hemsidan. Han såg bara platser dagen innan på utresan men lyckades hitta en passande anslutning till hemresan. Jag fick honom även att gå in på hemsidan och såg alla lediga platser men han kom inte åt dessa. Eftersom använd voucher går ut vid årsskiftet måste jag göra klart bokningen innan dess. Med tanke på utfallet vågade jag inte chansa på ny agent igen med mer tur. Bokningen blev således utresa på sen em dagen innan till CPH. Det får bli en kväll på hotell i Köpenhamn inkluderad och det är inte fel. Hemresan blir i alla fall med anslutande flyg till ARN. Givetvis tillkom Mp skatt eftersom resan nu utgick från ARN. Jag har gjort liknade flera gånger tidigare utan problem men det kan vara som du sagt tidigare att det öppnas upp fler platser längre fram.

quick question:

I am still trying to change my booking from ORD-CPH-OSL-DUS to ORD-CPH-DUS. My expertflyer alert just turned on and showed award availability for CPH-DUS at the exact time I want (wohooo :)). However, when I tried to change the booking, this option is not available.

If I perform an award search I see three available seats (see screenshots). I called SAS this morning and tried to rebook it with them. Apparently they were not available, the woman said that the reward CPH-DUS is most likely an error in the system. Is this true? Any tips? Do you think calling again might help?

Certainly call back! Both Eco and Plus works fine to book.

Could of course be married segment but still worth to role the roulette once more.

This is the hard part with SAS award and/or 2-4-1 booking right now, You just don’t know?
It could be that it’s not possible, for example married segments.
But it could also be one of the following things:
•the agent does not know how to apply/change the additional leg
•the agent want’s to end the call
•the agent hasn’t got the energi to fix it

Earlier this year I had a booking LHR-BOG-SJO and called SAS when they released ARN-LHR, ”impossible, You have to start your travel in London”.
HUACA one day later and all rebooked in 5 minutes (different agent).
Frustrating to say the least…..

Classic married segment. They want to be sell 3 award seats CPH-DUS, but don't want to sell any ORD-CPH-DUS.

The reason you don't see anything for ORD-DUS is because no business awards available on ORD-CPH.

You can definitely try again rebooking this with an agent, it might be possible to change it. But could also be married segments meaning those 3 award seats are only if you fly CPH-DUS without any other flights. Could be it's not available for flights from US or other regions as well.

Since I need to call the international hotline and speak to an English speaking agent, do you have any tips where to call (i.e. do certain countries have better support than others?) or do they end up all in the same call center?
