Frågor om att boka Eurobonus award resa

But there is so much available to New York and Boston, I cant believe that there really is nothing available for Miami
This is a mostly "normal" pattern. Even more available to Chicago usually.

Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Tokyo have historically been the by far hardest flights to find awards on.

Okay, so if I want to have a chance to get an award ticket, I have to book them at the local time (meaning in MIA?) at midnight 330 days before, so basically at 6am Germany (6 hours time different).

Thanks for all the great advice :) now I also have the problem that I would love to end in Düsseldorf (so MIA-DUS). Is this basically hopeless?

Are the SAS awards tickets also available for Star Alliance partners? E.g. Miles and More?

Focus on the leg MIA-ARN/CPH/OSL. The flight onwards to DUS can be added later, either with SAS (cost less points) or with Star Alliance.

What I am wondering in that case: Isn‘t it basically impossible to book this on one return ticket? Because I cannot make the booking for the flight back since it wont be available yet and I cannot postpone the booking process cause there wont be any availabilities?
