4h är åt fanders för kort om du ska mellan EWR och JFK. Jag skulle inte göra det bytet med mindre än 8h om jag ville vara någorlunda säker på att hinna med mitt flyg.
Problemet är att det är såååå många saker som kan gå fel i NYC. Dåligt väder kan göra att du blir sen in och tiden rinner iväg. Att gå igenom immigration kan ta allt mellan 10 minuter och 3h. Allmänt strul med kommunikationer mellan flygplatserna etc etc.

Asien via Amerika, Från usa till EU via Asien osv.
Samt antal stop i resp zon.
Med en voucher hade det där aldrig gått.
Det du har fått till bra är ju upplägget att dra allt på enkel och lösa fly premium på första flyget.

Det ser ut som att Kina har ändrat reglerna gällande byte på flera flygplatser inom Kina under 24 timmar.
Alltså, man inte får byta på flera flygplatser i Kina utan visum längre även om man gör det inom 24 timmar.
När jag kollade TIMATIC i 2015, tillät de byte på flera flygplatser i Kina utan visum om man gjorde allt inom 24 timmar.

Det släpps ibland 9 platser i Business till vissa destinationer, dock sällan långt i förväg utan på avgångar som har låg beläggning. 4 är görbart om man är flexibel, mer än 4 skulle jag säga blir väldigt svårt om man vill resa Business eller First bägge hållen. Det är inte omöjligt men väldigt sparsamt med avgångar med så många awards.
