From Monday, 4 May, our joint venture partner Lufthansa Group are asking all passengers to wear a mouth-nose cover on board their flights. Jag har också en tweet message svar från Swiss där de säger att refunds är möjligt, så här svarade de mig.

Hi Nissefalk please be advised that in case of a flight cancellation from our end, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket purchased. In this case, you will need to apply for the refund through your Travel Agency as we do not have any control in processing refunds for a Travel Agency booking. If your Travel Agency needs any form of waiver, it is their responsibility to contact our Trade Line Support Team for further assistance in terms of processing your refund. Hope this clarifies. Startade en chargeback med American Express får se hur det går, men kanske det börjar röra på sig nu , fick ett samtal från Expedia idag och sedan ett email som översatt från Franska i Google Translate ser ut så här.

Ganska kort och inte så informativ text, det refereras bara till Lufthansa, Eurowings och Swiss så undrar vad det innebär för Austrian och Brussels Airlines. Jag har 2 resor bokade med Austrian i juni som de hittills inte ställt in så får avvakta och se - hoppas de ställs in då Austrian inte varit villiga att göra refund eller omboka till de datum jag önskat.

Den officiella texten från Brittiska regeringen, Irland är undantaget (Common Travel Area= Irland), däremot hittar jag inget
att det också skulle gälla Frankrike som det ryktats om

“International travel: As the level of infection in the UK reduces, and the Government prepares for social contact to increase, it will be important to manage the risk of transmissions being reintroduced from abroad. Therefore, in order to keep overall levels of infection down and in line with many other countries, the Government will introduce a series of measures and restrictions at the UK border. This will contribute to keeping the overall number of transmissions in the UK as low as possible.

First, alongside increased information about the UK’s social distancing regime at the border, the Government will require all international arrivals to supply their contact and accommodation information. They will also be strongly advised to download and use the NHS contact tracing app.


Second, the Government will require all international arrivals not on a short list of exemptions to self-isolate in their accommodation for fourteen days on arrival into the UK. Where international travellers are unable to demonstrate where they would self-isolate, they will be required to do so in accommodation arranged by the Government.

The Government is working closely with the devolved administrations to coordinate implementation across the UK. Small exemptions to these measures will be in place to provide for continued security of supply into the UK and so as not to impede work supporting national security or critical infrastructure and to meet the UK’s international obligations. All journeys within the Common Travel Area will also be exempt from these measures.

These international travel measures will not come into force on 13 May but will be introduced as soon as possible. Further details, and guidance, will be set out shortly, and the measures and list of exemptions will be kept under regular review.”

Frankrike kan eventuellt finnas med i "short list of exemptions". Jag tror dock det snarare handlar om resenarer som anlander via tag fran Frankrike... Vi far se pa onsdag! Flygresenarer fran Frankrike hamnar val annars i samma omrade som resenarer from ovriga varlden pa flygplatserna (till skillnad fran ankommande from Common Travel Area, har sett sarskilda dorrar for ankommande darifran pa LHR).
