Indonesia to Offer Visa-Free for 30 Countries in April

Jakarta, GIVnews.com – Indonesia will offer visa-free short visit to citizens of 30 countries next month. This is in part aligned to the country’s target in welcoming 10 million tourists annually, from the nine million achieved in the past few years.
Currently, Indonesia has a visa-free policy for short term visit by tourists coming from 15 countries and regions. The policy applies to visitors staying in the country for 30 days or less.
Among the citizens that will be offered free visa are those originating from China, Japan, South Korea, United States, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Poland, Hungary, Checkoslovakia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and south Africa, Minister of Tourism Arief Yahya said Monday
