Getting used to the app and liking the new features!
A bit unusual, of course, but it must also be said that I miss the old wooden background in the app around 2014

1: Is there any reason to have the beta installed now that the official version is released? (iOS)
2: In the old app, am I remembering wrong or could you add an onward connection? That is, if you had 2 separate bookings, MMX-ARN and ARN-OSD. Add the connection in connection with the check-in of MMX-ARN? Isn't that feature in the new app?

On check-in flow, right? No, it's not available right now, but I think we should add this, we use to have it years ago when the check-in was on a different platform but we lost the feature when we had to upgrade the backend.

Yes, I guess you figured that out already but by tapping on each of the flights you get to the status of those and you can subscribe to them.
I usually subscribe to my previous aircraft flight so I get a push when is ON-BLOCK (arrive at gate) which means that I can calculate pretty well when they start boarding. I think we should add a feature to subscribe automatically if the user wants to do so as it's really convenient, agree?

Not today for non manual booking, we could let you do so, but you would still receive push notifications for that flight, will that be ok?

Could we please stick to having notifications be for essential flight related things please? Special offers are not essential, or at the very least an option to turn it off. In the app I can only see options turn off emails, telemarketing etc.

Also, the banner about special offers need to go away from the main screen. It hides essential info.

I agree about the banner, we will make it closable or inline so it is not intrusive, I think it was more a bug than on purpose. You can turn off marketing notifications in the settings of the app under subscriptions.

Good point, you don't want to accidentally turn off all notifications just because you don't want the advertising.
But it can easily become that way if you don't think about it.

I agree, you can turn off marketing communication in the app settings > subscriptions

12268 SEK (€1100) for Stockholm-New York in SAS Go in May is not really not an "offer" you should advertise about, it's more likely to scare potential customers away from SAS if that's an offer worth advertising about.

Confusingly enough those are in the apps. There are also a set in the system for the app. Which is disjoint, and has "Travel tips and offers".

I think this was a "left over" from the previous app, so we have cleaned this up now. If it is not there already it will reach in one of the next updates.

So, in my profile at SAS you can see that I live in Malmö, you can see that about 95% of my historical and future trips have started and ended in Copenhagen and the remaining 5% have started and ended in Malmö. Do you really think it makes sense to show me an offer from Stockholm (to Malaga)? Stockholm is about 600 km away from Malmö.

No, it doesn't really make sense, I agree. Have you changed your Default airport under settings?

@massimo: Yesterday I tried the "Save as image" function of the digital boarding pass. Function worked well - but why does it render such a low image resolution compared to if I take a screenshot myself? The files rendered in the app were 412x616 px and about 49,74 kB.

A screenshot of the same boarding pass on my, kind of old Samsung phone, was 1080x2340 px and about 350 kB.

Should be an easy fix to make the image quality a little better for the exported images.

Can we please fix so we can search for Åre / Östersund in the app? If you spell it in swedish, no result will appear.

oh man! How didn't we found this out earlier, probably because all our keyboards are in English?
Sorry about this, will find a solution, we are loading the airport in English as the app is in English but I understand people might search in Swedish and those 2 airports make sense as they start with a Scandinavian language, while a luleå will appear in the search result as it is at the end.
