Sequential use of flight coupons

Coupon sequence rule

Full and sequential use of flight coupons:
The ticket is not valid if the first coupon has not been used.
The coupons must be used in the sequence provided in the ticket, if not used in this order, honouring will not be made.

Exceptions

If all flight coupons for the outbound travel are completely unused, the flight coupons for the inbound travel can be used. This is valid for SK/117 documents on SAS operated flights, including wetlease, in below cases.

For SK public fares within Europe, domestic fares included
All fares originating in Denmark
EuroBonus award tickets

The following procedures shall be used for restricted fares

When changes are made before the date and time of the first flight coupon

If the passenger wants to cancel either outbound or inbound travel
Cancel the flights concerned.
Note: The ticket shall not be reissued.

If the passenger wants to rebook the outbound travel and cancel the inbound travel

Rebook the outbound segment(s)
Note: If the new outbound date/time is after the original inbound flight, you need to rebook the inbound flight according to fare rules, since you cannot change direction of travel.
Collect applicable fees and fare differences
Reissue the ticket
Cancel the inbound segment(s)

If the passenger wants to rebook the inbound travel and cancel the outbound travel

Rebook the inbound segment(s)
Note: If the new inbound date/time is before the original outbound flight, you need to rebook the outbound flight according to fare rules, since you cannot change direction of travel.

Collect applicable fees and fare differences
Reissue the ticket
Cancel the outbound segment(s)

Changes made when the outbound or inbound flight previously has been cancelled

As a change of direction of travel or a change from round trip to one way is not permitted, the missing segment needs a coupon in the new ticket

To be able to reissue the ticket correctly with all coupons, book a fake flight for the missing segment

Note: If the changed flight is either before or after the already cancelled flight, you need to collect the change fee and the fare difference if any, also for the fake flight(s).

Collect applicable fees and fare differences

Reissue the ticket

Cancel the fake flight(s)

The following procedures shall be used for restricted fares

When Changes are made after date and time of the first flight coupon

The outbound coupon(s) has not been used
The outbound flight has previously been cancelled or noshow.
Reissue the inbound segment according to fare rules.
