There are 238 rooms and suites starting at 40 square metres up to 100 square metres in size. The Beachfront Suites lead straight onto the sand and then the ocean – ideal for an early morning swim. Sugar Beach boasts a 1.5 kilometres stretch of stunning beach. There are two swimming pools – one the largest in Mauritius and the other is designated a “quiet zone”. There is a special children’s club for 2 to 11 year olds – complete with their own pool and even buffet.

Full refurbished in 2018, the resort now has 142 rooms & suites – offering the best in indoor/outdoor luxury living. Guests can expect an ocean, beach, or lagoon view, round the clock Butler Service, superb marble-clad bathrooms and now has interconnecting 2 or 3 bedroom options. The resort nestles behind a sheltered lagoons with superb coral reefs aplenty. The resort features two main swimming pools, a Fitness Centre, tennis court and the 12-treatment room Spa. Also on offer, all the usual water sports – Scuba, snorkelling and paddle boarding. The area is famous for kite surfing and ION Club Prestige caters exclusively for these thrill-seekers.

Opened in 2004, this all-villa resort looks over Tamarin Bay. It features 65 villas that range from a sizeable 163 square metres up to 345 square metres. Each has its own private pool and outdoor dining area. Guests can expect oodles of luxury – with flat screen plasma televisions, espresso machines, Blaise Mautin bathroom amenities and indoor & al fresco showers. This luxury resort located on the northwest tip of the island is a favourite for families, honeymooners, and Hollywood-types. Overlooking Grand Baie – the Royal Palm Beachcomber sits on Grand Sable beach. The resort has its own 65 foot yacht which guests can charter and the only hotel helipad on the island. There are 69 suites in the resort including 27 Junior Suites – 60 square metres in area, to three Presidential Suites at 260 square metres and one amazing Royal Suite – at a whooping 385 square metres. Located close to Le Morne on the south-west tip of Mauritius, Lux* Le Morne is a resort for families and honeymooners alike. The resort has 149 rooms and suites – from 64 entry level Superior Rooms (42 square metres) to 15 Ocean Junior Suites (57 square metres). All suites enjoy a view of the Ocean.
