Mandarin Oriental has opened two hotels - Mayfair - it's second property in London and Muscat - the capital of Oman.
Located on Hanover Square - in Central London, Mandarin Oriental Mayfair features just 50 guestrooms and suites, 77 private residences, Chef Akira Back’s Japanese/Korean restaurant, two bars and The Spa at Mandarin Oriental.
Mandarin Oriental, Muscat has 103 guestrooms and 47 suites. There are also 156 private homes - The Residences at Mandarin Oriental. Located in Shatti Al-Qurum - the hotel faces the Arabian Sea with the awesome Hajjar Mountains in its background. There's a 30-metre outdoor swimming pool, and of course a spa. With five restaurants and a lounge, there is a wide variety of international cuisines on offer. The Mandarin Cake Shop sounds fabulous!
