The much-anticipated Bulgari Hotel has opened in Rome. Located in the Piazza Augusto Imperatore, this is the ninth hotel for the luxury hotel group.
The hotel is found close to the Via del Corso on the right bank of the city - a stones throw from Colosseum.
Bulgari Hotel Roma has 114 rooms & suites - all decorated in white, yellow, red or green hues.
The third-floor Bulgari Suite is billed as one of the finest in Rome and boasts views over the Mausoleum of Augustus.
The self-taught three-Michelin starred chef Niko Romito heads the hotel's food & beverage team - which includes La Terrazza - a stunning al-fresco dining & drinking area.
The Bulgari Spa features a 20-metre covered swimming pool and nine treatment rooms.
A highlight of the hotel is sat at its entrance - an original 1 B.C. statue in Pentelic marble of a seated Emperor Augustus covered with a cloak and portrayed with the traditional attributes of Jupiter.
