Spicers Balfour Hotel

Spicers Balfour Hotel Brisbane is a charming and intimate boutique hotel located in the leafy suburb of New Farm, just a short walk from Brisbane's city centre. The hotel is a tale of two buildings and is housed within both a beautifully restored Queenslander-style building, which combines classic elegance with modern design and a 1940’s Art Deco style Simla building.  Nine executive rooms are located in the historic Queenslander building and eight one-bedroom suites are based in the Art Deco Simla building. The top suite at Spicers Balfour Hotel Brisbane is the Balfour Suite, a spacious and luxurious space with a king-size bed, a separate living area, and a large private balcony with panoramic views of the city and the river. The suite also features a marble bathroom with a freestanding bath and a walk-in rain shower. Although Spicers Balfour Hotel Brisbane does not have a pool, for those who like to swim, the Valley Pool is just a five-minute drive away. For the more energetic, the hotel is just a short walk to Wilsons look-out with park workout facilities overlooking the city. 

The hotel's restaurant, The Balfour Kitchen & Bar, is a popular dining destination for locals and visitors alike with seating either inside, on the veranda or in a leafy courtyard, with a menu inspired by Vietnamese cuisine and a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients, sustainably sourced seafood and ethically farmed meats. It also serves a mean High Tea too. The Balfour Kitchen also offers an extensive wine list, featuring a variety of local and international wines to be enjoyed within a hidden gem of a rooftop bar.
