A Businessclass Verified Hotel

MGM Cotai stands as one of Macao’s most iconic luxury hotels, with a striking architectural design that resembles an illuminated jewelry box. Composed of nine shimmering towers, the property is perfectly situated just moments from the bustling Cotai Strip. The hotel’s grand atrium, known as the Spectacle, enchants guests with an immersive four-story space featuring vertical gardens, premium retail, and 25 state-of-the-art LED walls that broadcast captivating scenes from across China—and, at times, live feeds of guests themselves.

The resort boasts over 1,400 meticulously designed rooms and suites, including the Emerald Tower, exclusive Emerald Villas, and the ultra-luxe Skylofts. The Mansion, a collection of lavish private villas, remains accessible exclusively by invitation. During our stay, we found the rooms to be elegantly appointed with polished marble and wood floors, softened by pastel accents. Spa-inspired bathrooms offer both rain showers and deep soaking tubs positioned to maximize cityscape views. Each room is equipped with a smart device and interactive television for seamless access to hotel services and entertainment.

MGM Cotai’s amenities are as impressive as its design. Guests enjoy access to a glamorous ballroom, a fully equipped fitness center, the award-winning Tria Spa, and a stunning outdoor pool with a jacuzzi. Contemporary Asian art is displayed throughout the property, from Qing dynasty carpets to modern abstract installations. A whimsical display of ceramic figures from the beloved Chinese classic "Journey to the West" is a perennial favorite among visitors.

Dining is a true highlight here, with eight acclaimed restaurants and bars. Renowned pastry chef Janice Wong, recognized globally for her innovative desserts, operates a boutique patisserie on-site. Two Michelin-starred chef Graham Elliot brings celebrity flair, while Mitsuharu Tsumura curates the celebrated Nikkei restaurant Aji, and Mauro Colagreco presents expertly aged meats at Grill 58. Four sophisticated Chinese dining venues, a Starbucks Reserve, and the chic Patuá bar complete the culinary lineup. Additional amenities include a world-class theater and a lush indoor garden, providing guests with a serene retreat from the city’s energy.
