Located in the city’s Barri Gòtic or Gothic Quarter, the Mercer Barcelona is a much a Barcino historic icon as it is a luxury hotel. The main building dates to Medieval times and one section of the city’s Roman wall is an integral part of the Mercer’s structure. The hotel offers just 28 luxury rooms & suites each stylish and filled with character. The interior designer studio Moneo Brock perfectly captured the essence of the Mercer brand – contemporary but sympathetic to its historical surrounds.

The hotel has a small plunge pool atop the decked rooftop. The Mercer Restaurant which overlooks the Orange Tree (inner) Courtyard offers fresh, local Catalan cuisine from the playbook of Chef Xavier Lahuerta. Le Bouchon is a gastrobar and the rooftop Terrace is an ideal locale to sip cocktails in the summer.
