Cancelling reservations

You may cancel a reservation made on ba.com or through the British Airways call center within 24 hours of ticketing for a full refund by calling the British Airways call center at 800-AIRWAYS provided travel is one week or more from the date of purchase. The 24 hour deadline can be extended up to 48 hours if the call center is closed when you first call.

When booking an airline ticket, you are allowed to cancel the purchase within 24 hours after the reservation has been made. The 24-hour rule has been determined by ECACs Airline and Airport Voluntary Commitment to Passengers.
Cancellation of tickets within 24 hours from reservation will be refunded 100% until 2 hours before departure.
In case of cancellation within 24 hours from reservation, and the ticket is partly used, the 24-hour rule will not apply.

När jag kollade deras regler igår på deras webbsida, stod det att det gällde endast för resor till/från USA och bokat på deras amerikansk webbsida.

Då återkommer jag senare idag då om det funkar. För jag satte en bokning on-hold igår som ska betalas idag. Iaf har jag fått mail och instruktioner om hur jag ska slutföra. Om det sen fungerar eller inte får vi väl se. Jag gjorde en multi-city bokning med start/slut Arlanda. Jag körde via Hong Kong-siten (valt land Hong Kong alltså).

Bokningen finns att ta upp på andra sajter etc, men inget ticketnr såklart, så jag tror det funkar som det ska. Kan tilägga också att priset är i SEK.

Det kanske finns olika regler när det gäller gratis avbokning och gratis on-hold.
