Ta bagaget själv genom tullen i Toronto?

Då får vi räkna med att hämta väskorna så blir allt annat en bonus.
Misstänkte nästan att vi måste hämta dom då vi dagen efter ska till stoooora USA och då ska ALLT kontrolleras några gånger till o_O
 
Vi har en transfer i Toronto när vi ska till Costa Rica. Anländer ca 20 till YYZ och flyger vidare först nästa dag kl 17. Hade hoppats på att bara ta handbagage och övernatta för en snabb tripp t/r till Niagara tidigt nästa morgon. Alltså checka in bagage hela vägen CPH-LHR-YYZ-SJO. Kommer detta alltså inte att funka?

International-Canada
If your flight originated from outside Canada or the United States and you need to take a connecting flight to a Canadian destination, you must clear Canadian customs. It is very important to remember that you must personally pick up your luggage, which you may then leave at the connecting-flight counter located immediately after you leave the customs hall. You must then follow the normal procedure for Canadian departures and go through pre-boarding screening checkpoint “A”. Note that liquids, gels and creams in containers larger than 100 ml/100 g (3.4 oz) must be carried in your checked luggage. Such items, even if sealed, will not be allowed through pre-boarding screening checkpoints.

@Andreas Ekman , jag flög PVG-YYZ-DTW förra våren med AC utan att gå in i Canada. Bagaget gick automatiskt hela vägen, i Pre-Clearance-kontrollen fick jag identifiera min väska på ett foto taget från bagagebandet. Detta var dock med vidare resa samma dag.

Ja, det är väl lika bra att vara beredd på det. Kommer dock att kolla med incheckningen på Kastrup vad som gäller. I bästa fall står väskorna över natten på YYZ medan vi bilar ner till Niagara. Vi får väl se vad som gäller när det är dags.
 
Jag har mejlat YYZ i hopp om svar, annars så blir det som det blir när vi är framme.
Litar inte på att fråga någon innan vi väl är på YYZ, så blir att få veta när vi är där.
 
kom ihåg eTA också! Var en 5-10 man som hade glömt det när jag flög CPH-YYZ i Maj som stod och stress-sökte på mobilen.
Speciellt vanligt fel bland de som bara har transfer i YYZ tydligen, inte väldigt bra information om det kan jag tycka.
Jag pratade med en flygvärdinna om det och hon nämnde att det på de första flygen efter det blev infört var väldigt många som inte fick komma med.
