Singapore, Uniquely Singapore - videos and information

Some more food videos. Here we had Ice Kachang and Chendol, at a cafeteria in a local golf club. Nice views.

On another day, we had dinner at a local Chinese restaurant called Peach Garden.

A european-style seafood join at Marina Square mall, in a new wing which houses a Japanese marketplace and many eateries. I try this eatery called Umi-Vino, with very fresh seafood, including lobster.

Singapore is generally an orderly and safe country. But we do have accidents. This is one case where a speeding van smashed into a motorcycle and a Sports car. Very awful!

I have not updated this thread in a while. Let me post some more.

Some bubbling ginseng chicken soup plus rice which I had for lunch.

This is an Indian snack called Appam.

An eatery called Old Town White Coffee, where I had some Nasi Lemak and a drink for lunch.

I really love your Vlogs. The first thing I think about when I think of Singapore is food. When people ask me what I love about Singapore, my answer is, FOOD. Your videos really bring back the nice feeling I always have in Singapore. I am really looking forward to going back there in about 4 weeks.

Thank you for your comment. I only started doing these V Logs from 1st Jan 2016 and my intention was more to keep a glimpse of what I ate, read, saw on that day. Turns out that most of my V Logs focus on food and the daily news! Thanks for watching. I've got more and I will post them here too.

The tradition before the Lunar New Year is to have reunion dinners. I had two, one for each side of the family. Both times we do the 'Lou Hei' or prosperity toss, followed by a delicious steamboat dinner. Enjoy the videos!
