SAS Rebook for Full Refund?

Hey people,

just wondering something: I have a ticket with SAS that is Rebookable (SAS Go Smart) but it is not refundable. But when reeboking, I am allowed to change the ticket category. I could rebook for another date and pay the difference to upgrade the ticket to SAS Pro Plus, which is a full refundable ticket. Would that allow me to then cancel the ticket and get all the money back (money spent on base ticket + the money spent upgrading)? They don't mention anywhere the only the difference is refundable...

No, the original rules for the ticket remain. Not sure if the ”additional fee” would be refundable though, probably not

Presumably this is specifically to close the loophole that would exist if someone could pay retroactively for a fully flexible ticket and get the entire amount back from a non-refundable ticket.
