SAS app:en - Hur kan den bli ännu bättre?

I've noticed that SAS marketing department has increased their communication about the app, and this channel has had very little communication from the developers. I assume this means "development has entered a new phase" , maybe even a stage where the app is considered finished?

Last time @massimo posted was before Christmas, when the 5.1 version was published. What I am wondering is if SAS is still interested in feedback , suggestions and interactions here (or has this thread become an internal BC thread )?
Yes, indeed. I just collapsed with work due to different reasons, now I am trying to get back on track, sorry about the slow response time. But I am here.

We are keeping developing, we might be slower to release new features as we have a lot of hygienic features that have to work well and has to be stabilized.
Sometimes is really hard as there is a kazillion of scenarios that have to be taken into consideration, especially during the day of travel.
 
@massimo: Yesterday I tried the "Save as image" function of the digital boarding pass. Function worked well - but why does it render such a low image resolution compared to if I take a screenshot myself? The files rendered in the app were 412x616 px and about 49,74 kB.

A screenshot of the same boarding pass on my, kind of old Samsung phone, was 1080x2340 px and about 350 kB.

Should be an easy fix to make the image quality a little better for the exported images.

Hi! I have no clue why, maybe the library we are using, I will check with the developer. Never noticed so good you pointed this out.
 
This is kind of an odd representation of my day trip ARN-BRU / BRU-CPH-ARN where it identifies CPH instead of BRU as the destination, the outbound flight path as ARN-BRU-CPH and the inbound flight path as CPH-ARN:)

Yes, this is a tricky one as the application is considering BRU as a connection, not a stopover so we break it into CPH, I will discuss internally with some folks

When I try to add a (non-Eurobonus) frequent flyer number to an award-trip, then I get an error message "Sorry, we are unable to process your request. Please try again or contact SAS customer support for assista".

Probably you writing the wrong prefix and doesn't have anything to do with the app.
Try a computer if you think it's the app or change the prefix.
 
Folks! Sorry for my late response time in the past few weeks, but we had hell over here, you might have heard about the cyber attack. But again this forum shall be my first read in the morning, right?

I wanted to update you on what we are working on and get feedback:

- in-app upgrade bidding module, allow you to bid straight from within the app for your upgrade > candidate for 5.3 if testing goes well
- chat for Diamonds member > test ongoing, will release this progressively but it shall come fairly soon
- Standard Award cancellation in-app
- Apple watch > developing not ready for 5.3 but we start testing it this week
- Dark mode > it looks really sexy actually, I wouldn't have a bet. Can't wait to show you in a few weeks
- Seat selection in check-in flow before check-in
- Ability to buy ancillaries in check-in flow for GO travelers > I know :)
- Corporate net fares > we started today (for those of you having corporate programs)
- Better marketing offers on the home screen when there is no trip booked
- Wifi one click > hard to test for us from the office, but hopefully it will come soon.
- LTG badge to feedback you are a LTG
- Show the 2x1 coupons on the profile wallet
- Earning points map on shops > will start next week
- In-app registration > not started yet but next in line
- Single and Double Open Jaw > :cool:


You must have seen this already in 5.2, just in case you missed it:
- in-app self-service delay baggage reporting tool > the only feature I wish you don't use unless you are coming back home
- what is included in your ticket
- better home screen performance
- NFC entitlement, now the boarding pass doesn't get overridden
- Show events at destination (ticket master)

Also we have a few other things we are sketching:

- Low Price Calendar
- Trip Planner > allow to add itinerary in a bucket so you can share a few alternatives with friends or colleague before you decide which one to pick up
- Ability to display the queue time before calling customer service
- Inbox > display the list of all push notifications you have received

Also, I think we should have "download receipt" from past bookings right?

What else do we miss to make this world-class?
