Revolut har lanserats i Norden

A major internet outage has taken down Revolut, the online banking app, and many of the UK’s biggest websites.

The problems appeared to be at least partly linked to technical issues at Google Cloud, the search giant’s web services division. That provides internet infrastructure to a wide array of websites – meaning that any issue at the company can become clear across the web.

Otroligt att dom bara verkar ha kört sina tjänster i en och samma availability zone hos GCP. Det är definitivt inte best practice för företag med kritiska tjänster, men tyvärr är allt fler villiga att ta risken för att spara pengar på infrastrukturen. Sorry för OT.
