Int-Int transfer finns tex på ATL för bagage, men man åker ändå på security.

Ingen officiell källa, mem det nämns i alla fall specifikt att tullklarering sker "plane side" vid ankomst från LHR, till skillnad från ICN som kräver vanlig tullhantering... Så det tyder ju på något i alla fall.

"One Stop Security, in contrast, allows some passengers to avoid all of this. They can clear passport control and customs plane-side (London passengers only), and the airline will transfer their luggage to the next flight (both London and Seoul passengers). Then, they can head to their next gate sooner."

Just ordet "some" är intressant i detta fall. Jag har svårt att tro att den nuvarande administrationen kommer vilja se att fler (i deras ögon) tvivelaktiga resenärer släpps in allt för lättvindigt så sker någon form av gallring när du lämnar planet? De som inte enkelt kan kollas skickas till vanliga CBP-kön (där de blandas med andra resenärer som inte anses sterila). Hur håller då flygplatsen reda på vilket bagage som är ok eller inte ok att skicka vidare till anslutningsplanet?

För att detta skall fungera smidigt måste flygplatserna designas för denna typ av trafik och USAs flygplatser är sällan byggda på detta sätt.

Om man bemannade immigration och säkerhetskontroller ordentligt torde detta behov av One Stop Security minska (enligt mig) även om jag är positivt inställd att det uppenbarligen finns en vilja att göra resandet något enklare.

(En BETYDLIGT trevligare upplevelse skulle det bli om de j*a britterna kunde låta bli att kräva säkerhetskontroll vid transfer från i stort sett varenda flygplats i Europa - det funkar ju uppenbarligen på de flesta andra flygplatser i Europa )

Där pratas det om att man slipper rescreening. Sedan läste jag någonstans att detta nyligen även gäller flyg med Virgin.

About 5 months ago, I posted a question asking for people's experience with One Stop Security and as a Global Entry holder, the ATL arrival and connection process in December was pretty much the same bar not having to wait for my suitcase as it was automatically rechecked for my next flight.

I recently arrived in Atlanta a few days ago and had another domestic flight to connect to, and thought I'd share my recent experience if anyone finds it helpful:

Arrived in Concourse E on flight DL31 from London

When arriving at the hall with CBP and GE kiosks, airport staff asked us to follow a purple line that was taped to the floor and directed us to another side of the hall that had CBP officers. I am a UK citizen so I went into a separate line to the US citizens (the US citizens got to use some sort of face scanner). I was a bit confused since I have Global Entry but that did not seem to matter. I was in the line for about 10 minutes alongside people who did not have Global Entry.

Spoke to a friendly CBP officer, asked the standard questions (Trip length and business/leisure) and that lasted about 30 seconds.

I was then asked to keep following the purple line, where I went down a set of stairs, but rather going further downstairs to where the baggage hall is, I was ushered to a door which opened right into Concourse E airside where the Delta Sky Club is.

All in all, the arrival process took about 10 minutes and it was so efficient. I hope this is helpful for anyone flying into Atlanta from London with Delta and connecting onto another flight.
