Via sas så länkas man till en Samsonite Webshop. Är det denna jag ska gå via för att beställa en ny väska eller ska jag beställa denna via Rimowa? Rimowa pratar om en damage report (fetmarkerat nedan) men detta steg är ju redan klart enligt SAS.

After evaluating the picture you have sent, we regret to inform you that our technicians have concluded that the Aluminium shell of your RIMOWA Original Check-In L cannot be repaired.
We recommend you to contact the airline that caused the damage because the airline is responsible for the claims and damage processing. Our warranty does not cover any damage that occurred during a commercial transport or that was caused by improper use. The warranty only covers damages that are a verifiable result of product defects or material flaws.
We want to share with you our technicians remarks:
Our products are tested and certified regularly by the company "TÜV Germany" and also by our customer "Lufthansa". Even the strongest suitcase cannot avoid damages if the transport company mistreats the luggage heavily. Based on the picture you have shared with us, we can tell you that in order to puncture the Aluminium shell of a RIMOWA suitcase, you need to apply a great amount of force and use a sharp object.
Please find enclosed our warranty guideline which explains the procedure. It is also attached to every suitcase. We can issue The RIMOWA DAMAGE REPORT that you will need in order to claim compensation to the airline responsible for the damage with your contact information.
Please, send us at your convenience a picture of the serial number, this will prevent transmission errors.
In most cases, you can find the serial number on the slim backside of the suitcase close to the bottom feet. (view picture).
RIMOWA original: Each RIMOWA has its personal data with a serial number as identification.
Quality & Guarantee: Each piece of luggage is guaranteed for 5 years.
