For those of you who don’t know your way round an SK Intercontinental seat it’s one of the lay flat at an angle types adopted by BMI, Lufthansa and the like. Personally I prefer to sleep at 180 degrees and this is quite possible. Between the seats at floor level is a little panel.

These are an override in case the electric mechanism fails. Now the seat will go completely flat using these and then you can use the electric seat controls to bring it back up. The problem is the pitch isn’t quite long enough so you have to curl up in a foetal position. At least it gets you flat. This also works on Luftwaffe.
