Passport required.
- Passports and other documents accepted for entry must be
valid for a minimum of 30 days beyond the period of intended
stay.
Passport Exemptions:
- Nationals of Sweden with an emergency passport.
Admission and Transit Restrictions:
- Passports must be machine-readable to enter and transit.
Visa required, except for Nationals of Sweden for a maximum
stay of 90 days.
Minors:
- WARNING! In accordance with European Union (EU) Legislation,
all minors who are nationals of Sweden and depart from
Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Romania or a Schengen Member
State
must have their own travel document that
meets the entry requirements of their destination.
- Minors younger than 18 years, traveling to/from South
Africa:
- This does not apply to holders of a valid visa.

Vaccination against yellow fever required if arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission

The certificate will become valid 10 days after vaccination and will stay valid for life.
Exempt from Yellow Fever vaccination:
- Children under 1 year of age and adults above 60 years of
age.
- Passengers transiting countries with risk of yellow fever
transmission
for max. 12 hours and not leaving
the transit area.
- Passengers transiting Senegal and Ghana but not leaving the
aircraft.
- Holders of a certificate of contraindication on medical
grounds, who will be placed under quarantine.
Recommended:
- Malaria prophylaxis: malaria risk, mainly due to P.
falciparum, exists throughout the year in the low altitude
areas of Limpopo Province, Mpumalanga Province (including
the Kruger National Park) and north-eastern Kwazulu Natal.
Risk is highest from October to May. Recommended prevention
in risk areas: C.
