The second meal is to be removed on shorter routes, to be replaced by the opportunity to take something from a basket of ambient snacks passed around by the crew
Pretzels, cheese and biscuits to be removed entirely

Pinsamt. Jag hävdar att sånna här neddragningar, även om dom är ovesentliga, bara ger negativa effekter. Kostnaden för att servera detta är lägre än PR-förlusten

There is a misunderstanding here about airline pricing.
Unlike normal businesses, pricing and costing people never meet. They literally have nothing to do with each other. BA staff have told me this.
In one building is a group of people working out what to charge, which is 100% based on competitor pricing and the number of seats already sold. It has NOTHING to do with the cost base, literally nothing.
In another building is a group of people looking to cut costs as far as possible.
The two are not connected at all, except for the fact that a lower quality service reduces demand which means that prices are forced down .....

Intressant och trist att BA som går ekonomiskt bra känner sig tvingat att spara in på sådana små saker.

Snålar på vatten gör de hursomhelst även om det "bara" är på korta sträckor.

Nja, vinflaskan är inte borta men den kostar närpå skjortan och byxan dvs. 70-90 SEK

Månadens enhancements
First and Club World:
Invitations to the arrivals lounge will no longer be given to passengers on flights arriving after noon. Whilst the lounge stops serving food at 12.30, it has always been open until 2pm – but perhaps no longer?
Club World:
Passengers will no longer receive a choice of starter. From London, you will receive a compulsory tomato, mozzarella and avocado salad
(This is apparently a trial for one month only and will be retained if successful)
Ice cream removed from the Club Kitchen
World Traveller Plus and World Traveller:
Tuck boxes removed – these are the boxes of small snacks which are loaded on the longer long-haul routes and kept in the galley for passengers to come and take as they wish
On the upside, Fever Tree tonic water will now apparently be available on all aircraft, long and short haul.

Det är väl därför det är på test en månad.
Ät tills du tröttnat och avskyr salladen, då kan de ta bort den sedan.
