Till USA via Bryssel (BRU) - vad gäller?

Jag skulle åka till USA via BRU i april, har 1:35 för att göra bytet från GOT-BRU till BRU-ORD med UA.

Jag läser att BRU skulle införa USCBP kontroll någon gång 2024 men hittar inget konkret om nuvarande statusen. Läser några skräckhistorier på Reddit om långa köer vid kontroll (oklart vad för kontroll), missade flyg, osv.

Vänder mig till forumet för att fråga hur det ser ut att göra detta bytet nuförtiden? Lounge räknar jag inte med dock hade varit fint att testa Diamond loungen. Men om vi bortser från lounge och obligatorisk passkontroll vad finns det mer inför ett USA flyg?

US CBP does not have CBP Preclearance at BRU even now after the 2020 agreement made between the US and Belgium.

When flying to the US on United via BRU, there are supplemental security contractors that the airline uses (and sometimes perhaps plain clothes IAP involved), but that is typically not going to make the difference between making a flight from BRU to the US and not making it.

BRU exit passport control on the way to the US can be a big mess, but that is mostly for and because of those who can’t use the automated exit passport control gates there or when they are shut down. But assuming Swedish passports and/or no young kids in tow, it works out more than ok with a 95 minute connection time on the way to the US for this route.

I'm not particularly worried about the connection just wanted to be prepared on what to expect.
