Editorial independence & disclosure

This policy defines editorial authority, disclosure standards, and post-publication accountability across BusinessClass.com.

Editorial independence

Final editorial authority rests with the BusinessClass.com editorial team. Commercial teams and outside organizations do not direct the conclusions of independent reviews.

Methodology and this policy

Our methodology explains how reviews are researched, evaluated, and brought to an editorial conclusion. This policy governs the commercial and accountability standards surrounding that work.

Read our methodology .

Complimentary access

BusinessClass.com does not accept complimentary stays, upgrades, meals, transport, press trips, or other hospitality benefits for use within its independent review framework. First-hand review evidence is based on independently funded stays or site visits.

Commercial relationships & affiliate activity

BusinessClass.com may generate revenue through advertising, booking integrations, affiliate links, and commercial partnerships.

When compensation may result from a link, booking path, placement, or integration, the relationship is disclosed close to the relevant content or action.

Coverage, rankings, & awards

Independent review coverage, ranking positions, and award inclusion are not sold.

Payment, sponsorship, affiliate activity, or another commercial relationship cannot secure nomination, placement, recognition, or a favorable assessment.

Conflicts of interest

Contributors, editors, and commercial team members must disclose any material personal, financial, or operational relationship involving a hotel, airline, travel provider, or partner covered by BusinessClass.com.

A person with a material conflict must not control the final assessment. When a conflict cannot reasonably be avoided, it is disclosed and the work receives additional independent review.

Editorial controls

Independent reviews are published under named authorship and reviewed before publication.

Hotels, airlines, and travel providers may be asked to verify factual details, but they do not review or approve the final copy.

Industry input & supplied materials

Hotels, airlines, and other travel providers may provide factual information, official visual materials, or attributed interview commentary for editorial consideration. These contributions are treated as source material, verified where necessary, and identified or credited where appropriate.

Representative images may not depict the exact room, aircraft, view, season, or condition available to every traveler.

Corrections policy

BusinessClass.com accepts factual correction requests and material operational updates from readers, hotels, airlines, travel providers, and other informed parties.

Requests should identify the relevant article, the statement in question, and supporting evidence where appropriate. The editorial team reviews each submission before deciding whether a change is required.

What may qualify for review

  • Incorrect factual information
  • Changed facilities, policies, or access rules
  • Room or product configuration changes
  • Material renovations or operational changes
  • Ownership or management changes relevant to existing coverage
  • New evidence that materially affects the assessment

A disagreement with an editorial opinion, a preference for different wording, or a request to remove a supported limitation does not by itself require a correction.

Submit a factual correction through the contact page .

Review updates

When a correction or material change is accepted, an article may receive revised wording, an updated date, or an editorial note.

Minor typographical changes may be made without a formal notice.
