One of the world’s leading restaurants, Eleven Madison Park, has launched a dinner kit for £180 – and this is how a «Michelin-worthy» dinner package looks like.
What sources of revenue can restaurants open up in these turbulent times? Perhaps the answer lies in the three Michelin star restaurant, Eleven Madison Park in New York.
The world-famous Michelin-starred restaurant Eleven Madison Park has already been closed for months, but has finally enabled customers to enjoy their gourmet meals – in their very own home – through their «Eleven Madison Park To Go» dinner kit.
The meal-kit starts at $275 (equivalent to £180) and serves from two up to four people. The dishes follow recipes created by world-renowned cook Daniel Humm, and parts of the meal must be cooked and reheated by the customers in their very own kitchen.
Customers will receive an uncooked 1.5 kg «Green Circle» chicken filled with brioche, foie gras and black truffle, and instructions on how to cook it at home.
Other meals included in the package are butternut squash baked with seaweed and brown butter, potato gratin with parmesan and gruyère, and a green salad.
On top of that, an apple cake as a dessert and granola for the next morning’s breakfast. All of the meals can be ordered along with a selection of fine wines and cocktails.
For every dinner ordered, Eleven Madison Park will donate ten meals to local residents experiencing food insecurity via a non-profit association.
