Finnair fornyer flyparken med fire nye Airbus A321–200

Finnair har inngått en avtale med det Singapore-baserte BOC Aviation Pte Ltd, som eies av Bank of China, for leasing av fire nye tomotors Airbus A321-200 narrow body-fly med plass til 209 passasjerer. Levering av Airbus-flyene starter i første halvår i 2017. Leieavtalen gjelder i minst åtte år. Bakgrunnen for denne avtalen er at Finnair dels vil fase ut den trofaste firemotors Airbus A340, og dels øke matetrafikken fra Europa til Helsinki for videre flyvninger til Asia. Samtidig selger Finnair to stykk Embraer og ett turboprop-fly.
