One of the world’s most celebrated spa-hotels, Chiva-Som in Hua Hin, Thailand, has unveiled its newly designed Ocean Rooms. The luxury accommodations have been designed by Ed Tuttle - an American architect best known for standout work on exclusive properties in Thailand, Indonesia, France and the United States.
Chiva-Som, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, bills itself as “the best wellness destination in the world.” It offers guests understated luxury, with a focus on “holistic wellbeing” via its menus of restorative treatments and retreats - which include a ‘Cranial Relief retreat’ for guests who suffer from migraines and life disrupting headaches, a ‘Cell Vitality retreat’ for guests who have recovered or are in remission from cancer, as well as treatments for emotional wellbeing and tension release.
The new Ocean Rooms feature wooden floors and natural materials to “enhance the ambiance of oneness with nature” - a key element within the Chiva-Som philosophy. Each room has a spectacular view over the Gulf of Thailand through floor to ceiling windows, as well as a separate spacious dressing room; two individual wash basins and a bathtub with wet room style shower. Additionally, outside terraces and balconies offer a generous seating area.
Ms. Sheila McCann, General Manager, commented: “I am so proud that Chiva-Som goes from strength to strength and we have so much more to offer for the years to come. The new decor is simple and elegant and these new rooms will allow us to provide the highest standard of services and comfort in a tailor made environment.” With these new renovated Ocean Rooms, Chiva-Som looks even more enticing. We love a luxurious wellness resort at BusinessClass and can't wait to test out these new rooms, while we are also curious about the spa's retreats and treatments.
