The 12 seats in the business class cabin - which will be configured in a 2-2 layout - will all recline into fully-flat beds.

As you can see from the images, they will also be angled towards the windows and away from the aisle. This means the window seat will not offer direct aisle access.

A new economy cabin was also unveiled, revealing 156 seats in a 3-3 layout.

The new cabins will debut on July 2 on Philippine Airlines’ Manila-Brisbane route. This is when the A321neo will replace the A340 that is currently serving the route.

The airline’s A340 offers 36 lie-flat (flat but not horizontal) business class seats in a 2-2-2 layout. Therefore, the new A321neo business class cabin represents an attractive improvement in way of comfort and probably space - the exact measurements of the new seats are yet to be confirmed.
