Spending time in London soon? Visit Sofitel London St James and experience the glamorous “La Parisienne” photo exhibition, running for two months from 27th September.
La Parisienne by Sofitel takes an intimate look at one of the world’s most captivating communities: “les Parisiennes” - the Parisian women who make the iconic city so chic and elegant.
The travelling exhibition debuted, naturally, in Paris - at the Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe, and features astonishing photographs of some of the world’s most famous women, shot in Paris.
Parisienne
Curated by the famous French magazine Paris Match, La Parisienne by Sofitel explores La Parisienne style and culture
through the decades, celebrating women whose enchanting elegance and innate sense of style symbolise the City of Lights.
The two-part exhibition features 22 iconic photos of Parisians dating back to the 1950s from the photography collection of Paris Match, including some shots from renowned Paris Match photographer Emanuele Scorcelletti.
In a press release, Sofitel said it “makes it a point of honour to celebrate its French heritage via numerous cultural events linked to literature, fashion and art.”
Agile-Talon The exhibition will continue its voyage in November to Warsaw, then Amsterdam, Lisbon and Budapest before continuing on to other destinations around the world. At each stop, La Parisienne by Sofitel will spend several weeks in a specific Sofitel hotel.
