Sheraton Melbourne unveils The Penthouse

Sheraton Melbourne Hotel is raising the bar for luxurious in Australia with the launch of The Penthouse, a new luxury suite located on the 31st floor of the hotel.

With sweeping views of Melbourne’s skyline, the 261 square metre, three-bedroom suite has a contemporary-chic design styled by the studio of Hecker Guthrie. The open-plan apartment features an elegant and innovative design, with an intelligent use of light, air, marble and wood, while gold accents add an extra touch of opulence.

From the spacious open terrace, perfect for alfresco dining, sliding-glass doors lead inside to an expansive lounge with two walls of floor-to-ceiling windows. The open floorplan features a sectional sofa, marble coffee table and a 65-inch curved UHDTV, with a colour scheme of black, slate grey, and white. A gas fireplace separates the lounge from a dining area complete with a ten-seat table beneath modern pendant lighting. Guests can also sit on bar stools at the open kitchen, which boasts a full-size refrigerator, a wine refrigerator, a stove, and a dishwasher. Nearby is a private study with a desk and a boardroom table that seats four.

Each of the three spacious bedrooms houses a 40-inch wall-mounted TV and a king-size Signature Sheraton bed. The bright master bedroom is distinguished by a walk-in closet and its own private balcony.

In addition to a powder room off the entryway, the three luxurious bathrooms offer generous walk-in showers. Adorned with custom marble tiles, the en-suite master bathroom also includes a sleek standalone bathtub and a massive nebulous mirror above the oversized sink.
