Shangri-La's Le Touessrok Resort & Spa, Mauritius, is set to open on 1 November after an extensive six-month renovation. The legendary Le Touessrok is nearly complete and pop-up events are being held in London, Paris and Dubai in late September and early October to showcase the resort's offerings.
The Spa Couple Treatment Room The 200-room resort is located on the east coast of Mauritius, in the stunning Trou d'Eau Douce Bay. Shangri-La's Le Touessrok Resort offers views of the Indian Ocean from all rooms, suites and villas. A secluded private island, with 3.5 kilometres of pristine beach, a stylish beach club and on-island butlers, is also available to guests.

Junior Suite The renovation has seen the use of organic and natural materials combined with touches of European glamour. Five new restaurant/bars have been introduced, including 'Republik Beach Club & Grill', which offers Mediterranean cuisine and barbecue specialties, 'Sega', a rum and Tiki bar where exciting local talents play reggae, jazz and the blues, and 'Safran', the resort’s acclaimed Indian restaurant.
Safran Indian Restaurant The resort also features two pools and the ’T-Club’ and ‘Active T-Club’ for children and teenagers. Guests also have access to an 18-hole golf course, designed by Bernhard Langer, just a short boat ride away. Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa will become the second property in the brand’s growing portfolio of five-star resorts in the Indian Ocean, joining Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort & Spa, Maldives
