As part of a £78m five-year renovation, The Royal Savoy Lausanne in Switzerland has opened the 1500sqm Le Spa du Royal, the final piece in the transformation of this iconic hotel.
The spa has 1,500 square metres of dedicated health and wellbeing space, including indoor and outdoor pools, vitality pools, saunas, steam rooms, several hammams, eight treatment rooms, two private spas and a 24-hour fitness facility with state of the art fitness equipment.
The spa also offers a large selection of treatments, including signature or hot stone massages, lymphatic drainage and foot acupressure, as well as manicures and pedicures, haircuts and styling, spray tans, hair removal and tinting. Alternative treatments such as energy, bodywork and structural therapy are also available to guests staying at the 196-room five-star hotel.
First opened in 1906, the Royal Savoy Hotel has been a prestigious symbol of Lausanne for many years; its architectural magnificence and tradition of hospitality have consistently attracted aristocracy and famous personalities.
