Thanks to Emirates, a few extra hours in Dubai International Airport just got a whole lot more attractive.

Whether you’re in the mood to relax with a glass of vintage bubbly, refresh with a delicious smoothie, or recharge with a hot cup of coffee, Emirates’ reinvented Business Class Lounge in DXB’s Concourse B has you covered.

Following a two-year, £9m upgrade, the already-huge lounge has three new distinct food and beverage areas - an exclusive Moët & Chandon champagne lounge, a Health Hub in partnership with Voss water, and a Costa Coffee shop.

Long a mainstay of the Emirates experience, Moët Hennessy champagnes are now available at the airline's hub. Featuring a relaxed seating area and a sleek bar, the Moët & Chandon lounge serves Moët Impérial, Moët Rosé Impérial, Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage and Moët Nectar Impérial.

A unique selection of canapés is also available to complement each champagne. The canapé menus are changed monthly and include selections such as goat cheese and Emmental gougere, sliced smoked duck on sushi rice and hoisin sauce, and chicken with spicy tomato and mango.

Emirates have removed the stress with the new Health hub, launched in partnership with Norwegian artesian water company, Voss. Emirates said the health-focused concept is a response to an increasing demand for healthy food and beverage options. On offer are a selection of fruit and water infusions, juices and smoothies, as well as a menu of gourmet sandwiches, wraps, and salads.

The final new addition to the premium lounge is a dedicated Costa Coffee counter with baristas. Enjoy a hot beverage prepared by a barista and choose from a selection of fresh pastries.

The lounge has seven other areas including a children’s play area and quiet areas, as well as a Timeless Spa, showers, on-site chefs and a full bar serving premium wine, spirits, and champagne.

The three new areas are the first of several new concepts planned for Emirates' six lounges in Dubai, a press release said. In the coming year, the Gulf giant is looking to introduce a sports bar and a cocktail bar to the airport.
