British Airways has unveiled a “prestigious” new lounge at Dubai International’s newly-built Concourse D,

which opened yesterday.

Open to British Airways' First and Club World (Business class) customers, as well as Silver and Gold executive card holders, the new premium lounge has been designed to showcase the best of British design and architecture, BA said. It aims maximise space using architectural elements and is finished with black Nero marble surfaces and European oak flooring.

BA's new lounge at DXB’s newly-built Concourse D The lounge also houses BA’s second global ‘Concorde Bar’, following its debut last year in Singapore, where First customers and their guests can relax and enjoy a selection of premium wines and champagne in a private environment before boarding their flight. British Airways advised that First customers will be given a special entry card at reception for the private bar, which they simply swipe at an electronic reader to gain access.
