New rooftop bar at Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch

Summer in the UK is a notoriously short affair, so why not make the most of what we have left by heading to one of London’s newest and most chilled out rooftop venues, the Shoreditch Sky Terrace.

Set atop the

recently opened Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch

, this addition to the East London scene offers amazing panoramic views across London’s cityscape and beyond.

Here, non-residents and hotel guests alike can drink in the vistas – along with some expertly mixed signature cocktails – and listen to DJ sets. A menu offering bar snacks and nibbles is also available on request.

Created on the roof space of the original magistrates’ building, access is over a glazed bridge that links the Shoreditch Sky Terrace to the new wing of the hotel. The decor uses natural colours, organic materials and clean lines to reflect the contemporary design and to allow the unlimited views of the capital to take centre stage.

Canary Wharf, The Shard, Heron Tower, Crystal Palace, the ArcelorMittal Orbit and the BT Tower are just some of the iconic sights visible from here.

The Shoreditch Sky Terrace is open daily from 4pm. Find and book the best rates for your stay at the trendsetting Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch
