SAS has elevated the travel experience for its EuroBonus Diamond members with two exceptional new benefits. Those holding Diamond status now enjoy complimentary beverages—including alcoholic options—on all SAS-operated flights, extending even to economy class (SAS Go). Additionally, upon landing, Diamond members are welcomed with access to SAS lounges, regardless of their travel class or departure point.
Complimentary In-Flight Beverages
Members can now savor a curated selection of soft drinks, juices, and premium alcoholic beverages across SAS flights within Europe. Previously, SAS Go only offered complimentary coffee and tea, but this enhancement brings the service in line with leading global loyalty programs. The privilege is extended to either a travel companion or up to four immediate family members. Please note, due to national regulations, alcoholic drinks remain unavailable on domestic Scandinavian routes.
Simply present your Diamond Card before the onboard service commences to enjoy these complimentary offerings. SAS is also rolling out enhanced digital integration, enabling crew to verify Diamond status directly from the passenger manifest for seamless recognition.
In addition, Diamond members now receive exclusive access to SAS lounges in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo upon arrival from any SAS, Star Alliance, or codeshare flight—regardless of booking class. This arrival lounge access also applies to European flights, further elevating the end-to-end journey. The benefit is valid for one guest or close family members, but does not include arrivals from purely domestic flights within Scandinavia.
