Marriott today opened their newest Moxy-branded hotel - the Moxy Munich Airport.
The luxury and lifestyle brand, which “fully embraces today’s next generation traveller,” will offer the style and soul of a boutique hotel for an affordable price, five minutes from Munich Airport’s main terminal, according to Marriott. Each of the hotel’s 252 rooms has a 42" flat screen television, free Wi-Fi, deep-seated armchairs and a floor to ceiling art piece. The Moxy self-service dining area offers food and drink options - including panini sandwiches and local dishes - 24 hours a day. Cocktails, craft beers and specialty wines are served in the evening. “Intriguing art” and references to local culture are displayed on the walls throughout the hotel, and ‘The Living Room’ provides a space for gatherings, events or cocktails. Moxy Munich also houses nine meeting rooms, including 'The Club' and 'The Brain Box'. Moxy Munich Airport is one of five Moxy Hotels planned to open in Europe in 2016, with additional properties located in Berlin and Eschborn in Germany, and Aberdeen and London Royal Docks in the U.K. The first Moxy Hotel opened in Milan, Italy in 2014.
