Middle East Airlines has revealed pictures of its newly renovated Cedar Lounge at Beirut International Airport.
The lounge, which covers an area of 3000 square metres and can seat 450 guests (almost twice as much as previously), has been redesigned with the contemporary traveller in mind.
It features a number of different seating zones according to the needs of each type of visitor, as well as being equipped with the state of the art technologies and designer furniture.
The different zones include a family zone, a business area, a general seating area, a dining zone, a smoking zone, a kids’ area, a spa with beauty services and massage therapy, and a central green space that links all the zones.
Seats are equipped with USB ports and power sockets, while all zones are equipped with several large screens and other screens showing departure times.
The lounge also has lighting system technology that changes colour according to the amount of light coming in from the outside.
In way of food and drink, The lounge offers two large buffet bars served by a large newly-equipped industrial kitchen, while beverages are available at four coffee stations, and two well-stocked bars.
