Marriott opens resort and spa in Hua Hin

Marriott has confirmed the opening of Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa in Thailand. 

Featuring 322 rooms that combine modern design and Thai Colonial features, the resort is located on a beachfront with 8.7 acres of land and access to the town centre.

King Guest Room Mr. Karl Hudson, Area Vice President-Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia & Japan, said, “We are delighted to open our doors and welcome guests to Hua Hin’s first Marriott Hotels branded hotel. Hua Hin is a famous vacation getaway for both local and international travellers. Hua Hin has a lot of potential as it offers various activities and attractions, and it is merely 200km from Bangkok.”

Amber Kitchen outdoor seating The new hotel is inspired by the “Marriott Modern” design philosophy, with deluxe rooms boasting views of the ocean and offering direct access to the lagoon shaped swimming pool that loops around the resort. Along with an adults-only swimming pool, there is also a Kid’s Club, kid’s pool, water slide and tree house. Five food and beverage outlets include Amber Kitchen, an all-day-dining restaurant offering Thai and international cuisine; Big Fish & Bar with ocean views and signature grill and seafood; the pool-side Pool Bar; Siam Bakery; and Lobby Lounge, which offers coffee and high tea, evening cocktails and entrées.

Siam Bakery The “extravagant” Quan Spa offers a vast selection of massages and touch therapy treatments. There is also a 24-hour gym and health and rejuvenation programs. Additionally, Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa has a 300 square metre ballroom with capacity for up to 280 guest, as well as several other function rooms.
