This week, Garuda Indonesia—the nation’s flagship carrier—debuted its upgraded Airbus A330-300 featuring the state-of-the-art Super Diamond Business Class seats, setting new benchmarks in premium air travel.
Simultaneously, Garuda celebrated the arrival of its tenth Boeing 777-300ER, further enhancing its long-haul capabilities.
The introduction of the Super Diamond seat configuration is a cornerstone of Garuda Indonesia’s ongoing fleet modernization strategy, which continues to see the addition of next-generation aircraft through 2025 to meet evolving passenger expectations.
The Airbus A330-300, now boasting the Super Diamond Business Class, marks the beginning of a refreshed widebody fleet, while the latest Boeing 777-300ER completes a decade-long investment in long-haul expansion.

The Airbus A330-300 is engineered for non-stop journeys of up to 12 hours, accommodating a total of 287 guests—24 in the exclusive Super Diamond Business Class and 263 in Economy Class.
Designed for discerning travelers, the Super Diamond seats elevate comfort and privacy. The innovative 1-2-1 layout ensures every Business Class guest enjoys direct aisle access, a hallmark of modern premium cabins.
Each Super Diamond seat transforms into a fully flat bed, measuring an expansive 24 inches wide and 82 inches long. Passengers benefit from a 16-inch Panasonic Ex3 HD touchscreen, an intuitive remote, dual USB ports, universal power outlets, customizable armrests and headrests, a large meal table, personal reading light, and a contemporary mini bar display.

"By equipping our A330-300s with the Super Diamond Business Class, Garuda Indonesia leads the way as the first airline globally to offer this advanced seat model on an A330-300, distinguishing us from competitors who reserve it for the A350," added Arif Wibowo.
The airline’s tenth Boeing 777-300ER features a 393-seat layout, comprising 26 Business Class and 367 Economy Class seats. Notably, six out of ten of Garuda’s 777-300ER fleet are configured with a prestigious First Class cabin, offering eight First Class suites, 38 Business Class seats, and 268 Economy seats for an unrivaled range of options.
