Free facial for British Airways’ premium passengers
Passengers flying in British Airways’ First and Club World, as well as Executive Club Gold Members flying long-haul, can now enjoy a free 15-minute “hands-on" facial at the airline’s ELEMIS Travel spas.
The new treatment - available at Heathrow's Terminal 5 and 3, as well as in Terminal 7 at New York’s JFK airport - features the very latest BIOTEC Energising Skincare System. “The new BIOTEC products work to ‘switch your skin back on’ for a visibly healthy, nourished and more energised look – ideal for busy business travellers and leisure customers looking for that extra bit of pampering,” a press release said.
British Airways customers will be the first to experience ELEMIS’ new BIOTEC System, which complements the spa’s existing treatments and skin-therapies. Troy Warfield, British Airways’ director of customer experience, said: “This exclusive new complimentary treatment, which helps make our customers feel more energised and refreshed when they fly, is part of our continuing commitment to making British Airways the airline of choice for flyers. “We’re constantly looking at ways to make the travelling experience easier, more enjoyable and relaxing, and we are delighted that our partnership with ELEMIS is playing a part in that.” Noella Gabriel, co-founder and creator of ELEMIS, said: “Cell energy is crucial to skin health. I wanted to create a system that would turbo-charge the skin from within, delivering true vitality to the complexion. “This is ground-breaking technology, where the best of science and the best of nature are harnessed for extraordinary results.” ELEMIS’ cosmetic scientists have been researching and developing the new BIOTEC Energising Skincare System for over three years ahead of the launch. It is their biggest innovation for over a decade, since the introduction of their Pro-Collagen Marine Cream 13 years ago. The new BIOTEC Energising Skincare System helps re-boost the skin to help combat stress and lack of sleep.
