Set within one of London’s most prestigious buildings - one that over the years has been the headquarters of the Port of London Authority, hosted the United Nations, and even starred in the 2012 James Bond film, Skyfall - Four Seasons has opened one of London’s

most anticipated 5-star hotels of 2017

Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square

.

The 100-room landmark hotel opens 47 years after the renowned luxury hotel group launched its first property in the capital (

now known as the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane

).

It provides a convenient central location, near the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the River Thames, perfect for exploring the sprawling capital. Book a stay at Four Seasons Ten Trinity Square this April to bare witness to the London Marathon, as participants will wind their way around the vicinity of Ten Trinity Square on their quest for victory.

Sure to be a hit with both business and leisure travellers alike, Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square will house 100 accommodations, including 11 spacious suites – some with ornate original plasterwork, soaring ceilings, and working fireplaces. The historic building also incorporates 41 Private Residences.

Foodies will be especially eager to try out the property’s three restaurants, including La Dame de Pic, which showcases the culinary vision of Anne-Sophie Pic, the only female French chef with three Michelin stars. She will be offering carefully-crafted seasonal menus, featuring British ingredients sourced from the very best local farms and markets. A sneak peak at the menu reveals items such as Hereford beef or Dorset crab prepared in the French style.

Rotunda Bar & Lounge

Located in the heart of the hotel, the impressive Rotunda Bar & Lounge is as elegant as it is eye-catching. Enjoy all-day dining, afternoon tea, or a vibrant bar atmosphere in the evening under a striking art-deco style domed ceiling.

A less formal Asian dining venue will also be launching on May 1st, offering Chinese and Japanese dishes, “complemented by elegant, contemporary design in a relaxed and intimate setting,” a press release from Four Seasons said.

Pool area

Opening on April 1st, the

Roman-inspired, marble-clad

Spa at Four Seasons will offer a number of traditional and cutting-edge treatments within luxurious and serene setting. Extensive facilities will include eight spacious treatment rooms, including a Spa Suite for couples and a special Hammam Suite for steam treatments. Shared relaxation amenities will include an indoor swimming pool, vitality pool, steam room and sauna. A state-of-the-art, 24/7 fitness centre is open now.

UN Ballroom

As the headquarters of the Port of London Authority, Ten Trinity Square once played host to the reception of the United Nations General Assembly. Today, the gracious UN Ballroom has been beautifully restored in all its glory, offering an auspicious choice for important business meetings or events, with a capacity of up to 200 guests.

The hotel is also home to Ten Trinity Square Private Club, a prestigious private member's club from Reignwood, Four Seasons Hotels and Chateau Latour.

With a number of other exciting luxury hotels set to open this year in London - including

Nobu Hotel Shoreditch

and The Ned - it will be interesting to see how the new Four Seasons stands up to its well-established sister at Park Lane. If the lodging experience is half as impressive as the hotel’s first impressions, then Four Seasons has nothing to worry about.
