Starwood has launched its vibrant W brand in the United Arab Emirates with the opening of W Dubai – Al Habtoor City.
The 33-story hotel hopes to “shake up” Dubai with its rooftop W Lounge, WET pool deck and fashion and music events. The hotel’s 356 rooms and suites have a futuristic and bold style designed by Singapore-based firm Silverfox Studios. Stunning floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of the bustling city and open ocean.
W Dubai – Al Habtoor City The W brand’s take on the traditional presidential suite, the Extreme Wow Suite, spans 690 square metres of the 27th and 28th floors, affording it panoramic views of Dubai’s striking skyline. The suite also includes a large lounge area, bar, DJ booth, dance floor, catwalk ramp, pool table and kitchenette, perfect for partying the night away. As well as the W Lounge (the brand’s reinterpretation of the hotel lobby) on the 30th floor, the vivacious hotel features destination restaurant, Namu - which serves an original fusion of Japanese and Korean dishes - and Level Seven, a casual restaurants that serves Mediterranean cuisine from a theatrical open kitchen, along with a crudo (raw) bar.
W Dubai – Al Habtoor City The hotel’s boldly landscaped WET Deck provides a relaxed and glamorous place to lounge during day, with outdoor pools, private cabanas, light bites and refreshing drinks, whilst in the evening becoming a bubbling hotspot with DJs, cocktails and a party atmosphere.
