The Sheraton Salzburg Hotel has been rebranded as a Sheraton Grand property following a complete five year renovation.
Michael Wale, President of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, said that thanks to its 10 million euro renovation, Sheraton Grand Salzburg is a “best-in-class example” of the brand’s new approach to design, thus, it has joined the brand’s premier tier.
With a traditional Salzburg design complemented by modern touches, the refreshed Sheraton Grand Salzburg brings sleek and polished luxury accommodation to the splendid alpine city of Salzburg.
The hotel has added 29 new rooms and suites, and carefully restored the entire sixth floor with tech-enhanced furnishings and premium materials, such as oiled oak floors and bespoke wooden furniture from Tyrol. The rooms feature a minimalistic design concept accentuated by small details, such as the selection of black and white pictures depicting historical Salzburg scenes.
The dining experience has also been upgraded, with the addition of a show kitchen to the Mirabell Restaurant.
The hotel’s 166 rooms and suites all offer city or park views of the famous Mirabell Gardens and Salzburg’s mountain scenery. If you stay in one of the Sheraton Club rooms or suites, you can enjoy access to the Sheraton Club Lounge, a private space where guests receive complimentary breakfast, drinks and snacks during the day.
Sheraton Grand Salzburg joins 34 other Sheraton Grand properties worldwide.
