A First Look At The New Star Of Tinseltown - The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills
As part of Hilton's luxury brand, the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills opened up in June in Los Angeles to become the new star of Tinseltown.
It’s been ten years in the making,
, the ribbon has been cut and the swanky new Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is now open for business. Overlooking Rodeo Drive and one of the city’s most affluent retail districts, the hotel fits in perfectly, overflowing with its own glamour and prestige.
Located at the intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards, the Waldorf Beverly Hills comprises 119 rooms and 51 suites. The all-encompassing suites were designed by renowned French design firm Pierre-Yves Rochon, who is also responsible for the lavish refurbs at London's Savoy Hotel and the Four Seasons George V in Paris, among others.
Each room features floor-to-ceiling windows and large balconies, ideal for gazing out over the dazzling LA skyline and the famous Hollywood hills beyond.
Guests are welcomed to the hotel in a stunning lobby, complete with a fantastical chandelier suspended two stories up. Much of the hotel’s gleaming interiors give a nod to Hollywood’s golden age, with sparkling glass and crystal and classical artworks throughout.
The hotel has two restaurants - a particularly impressive rooftop restaurant and the flagship Jean-Georges Beverly Hills restaurant, which focuses on local produce by partnering with local farmers and sourcing ingredients from the famed farmer’s market in nearby Santa Monica. In-room dining is also available.
There is a 5,000 square foot La Prairie Spa, which features a salon by celebrity colourist Tracey Cunningham.
The Rooftop restaurant is joined by a sleek bar area and a swimming pool, making it in one of the city’s most elegant and exclusive spaces for a cocktail or two.
For service that goes above and beyond, guests staying at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills will have access to a team of concierges 24 hours a day. Guests are even provided with a phone number that they can text in order to make a request or ask a question, for ultimate convenience.
