The new Regus Express business lounge and office space at Copenhagen Kastrup officially opened Tuesday, March 17th. BusinessClass were allowed a sneak peek prior to the doors being opened to the public. In addition to the usual facilities, such as offices and conference rooms, the lounge also accommodates a shower room, and in the morning breakfast is offered. This lounge is, in practicality, Kastrup’s first arrivals lounge.
Regus operates office space in more than 2000 locations in 100 countries, and this will be number 17 in Denmark - in Terminal 3 at Copenhagen Airport outside Copenhagen. This office space is furnished like most others, with a reception, offices and meeting rooms. The ‘Regus Express’ concept means that this business centre is also called a “business lounge".
Regus Express meeting room The concept of the office space and drop-in business lounge is, in itself, not new; the concept already exists in several locations in Copenhagen. Nevertheless, Regus have decided to call this facility at Kastrup a "flagship”, because the concept is taken a step further with the inclusion of a shower room. Thus, Regus Express is not only an office space but also Kastrup’s first arrivals lounge. The concept is based on Regus’ experiences at London Gatwick Airport, which had great success with offering these facilities to business travellers. The whole concept of business lounge, meeting rooms and office space is offered to members of Regus. Membership is available in different levels, from Blue to Platinum Plus. Blue Membership is free and you only pay for what you use - e.g two hours in the business lounge. At higher levels more amenities are included. As a Gold member, free access to Regus’ Express business lounge is included. With Express and Platinum Plus, one is guaranteed a designated workplace.
Regus Express business lounge An aspect of the lounge concept is know as ‘drop-in’, and it offers the opportunity for one to get a seat and an internet connection in a quiet environment. There is also access to a scanner, printer, copier, toilets and a reception desk that can help with mailings and other service issues. The lounge includes breakfast with, among other options, croissants, bread and cold cuts. There is also always water, juice, tea and Nespresso coffee available. Regus Express at Kastrup offers what it calls "arrival packages”. The package includes access to the shower room, breakfast and two hours in the lounge. Arrival packages cost from 250 DKK (£25). If you just want to visit the business lounge, it costs 80 DKK (£8) per hour. As a new customer, you have the opportunity to receive a free day pass to the Regus Express business lounge: regus.dk/express
