Emirates to fly A380 to Vienna
Emirates will deploy an Airbus A380 on one of its two daily flights to Vienna from July 1. The double-decker superjumbo will fly as flight number EK127/EK128, replacing the Boeing 777-300ER currently serving the Austrian capital.
The world’s largest passenger aircraft, which features private suites and onboard lounge and shower, will offer passengers flying to Vienna International Airport 519 seats over thee classes - 14 in First Class, 76 in Business Class and 429 in Economy. “Over the years, we have gradually seen an increase in demand for our services in Austria thanks to the strong response and support from our customers. We are very pleased now, as a further step, to bring our flagship A380 to Austria, offering an unrivalled travel experience for passengers in all classes,” said Thierry Antinori, Emirates‘ Executive Vice President and Chief Commerical Officer. “Austria, as a leader in the hospitality industry and Vienna as a world class city, are sure to benefit from a boost to tourism and job creation as well as experiencing a positive impact on the economy as they welcome more visitors from the Middle East, Asia and Africa. We would like to thank Vienna Airport and the City of Vienna for their strong support which has enabled us to bring the A380 to this beautiful city,“ he continued. Flight EK127 departs from Dubai at 08.55 and arrives in Vienna at 12.55. In the opposite direction, flight EK128 departs from Vienna at 15.05 and arrives in Dubai at 22.45h. The airline’s second daily service to Vienna, EK125/126, will continue to be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER.
